  1. Melt the butter and pour into a mixing bowl with vegetable oil, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Mix together with a wooden spoon.
  2. Stir in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir just until combined, it is okay if there are a few lumps.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Butter a 12 cup muffin tin or line with muffin liners. Use a muffin scoop or serving spoon to fill the muffin tin with batter.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven for 15-17 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Baked muffins with chocolate chips in a tin.
  7. Run a sharp knife around the muffins if you are not using liners. Remove muffins to a wire rack to cool.

  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

    1. Great recipe! I made these muffins but there is a slight problem. In the ingredients you have 1 cup of milk but in the instructions the 1 cup of milk is not typed any where.
